Welcome to New Palestine Elementary School!

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about NPE on this page.  I would like to tell you why I love this school!

I am always inspired by the students at New Palestine Elementary!  They are the most friendly, fun-loving, kind, hard-working students in the world! I am so proud of the work they do in their classrooms and also to help those in need in our community and abroad!

At New Palestine Elementary, students get an education that is innovative, connected, and authentic!  We continue to be a recognized school for our Digital Citizenship, we continue to do eLearning Days, and we use technology every day as a tool to help us learn!  We also do Innovative Arts time at NPE.  Students explore Project Lead the Way units in grades K-4 and engage in many STEM activities in their classrooms!

There are many special traditions at NPE!  I enjoy very much being a part of the annual Halloween parade.  This event evokes a ton of school
pride!  Another great tradition is all of the special days held at each grade level.  Christmas Around the World, celebrating the Chinese New Year, Fiesta Day, Famous Hoosier Day, the Fourth Grade Overnight History Trip, and countless others taught us a great deal about our subjects while bringing learning to life.

The NPE community is very giving!  NPE is a Riley Children's Hospital Red Wagon School meaning that we raised more than $1 from each NPE student during the last school year.  We supported many other charities including the Hancock County Food Pantry, local families in need, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and many more.  One of our teachers even runs a nonprofit housed at NPE, Stacy's Sharing Closet. Our students were taught by their wonderful parents that when you give, you find true happiness.

The NPE Parent Teacher Organization is a vital part of our school!  This group raises a great deal of money to fund various projects around the school.  This year they donated money to help make our Media Center a 21st Century learning space.  They also support us in a million different ways and always work to make the NPE community stronger!  We are so very grateful!

The NPE students are our number one priority!  As we continue to grow and change, we always keep the best interest of your children as our lens.  They are our inspiration and the reason behind all that we do.

Please reach out if you have any questions!  I would love to hear from you!
